Jct: It’s not the money-changers and pigeon-sellers Jesus was castigating. It was the money-lenders whose usury was inflicting a mort-gage death-gamble on borrowers. Tourist destinations need money-changers and support services and Jerusalem was one big tourist trap. But that’s not why Jesus beat up the bad guys. It was usury making slaves of the debtors upon foreclosure.

Jct: Har har har. When was the last time you used your vote. Voted for one of the rich guys and now you want to break something. Unlike these protest-obstuctors with no alternative to offer but bust a window to show their anger, I’m a protest instructor with the Argentine Solution to propose. No need to break anything when there’s something I want them to do but I can understand that if you have no clue about what to do, may as well break something.
