Money Creation
This page is dedicated to the discussion of the creation of money by 1worldcurrency.net
The main concept that must be remembered here is that we can create as much money as we collectively decide and distribute it as we see fit as long as business is done in an ecologically sustainable and restorative manner. The next and most important aspect is that of finance in the new system. The new monetary system will have no interest or usury charges. Credit will be issued free of charge and every human on the earth will be given a line of credit. Business credit will be given to companies willing to form an equal partnership between themselves and the participants of the new economy. The new economy is tax free. These businesses will become even partners with all the people in the one world currency economy. You can participate in any community currency you choose, it can be as small or large of a group as you choose. This partnership of the people being shareholders of technology and business acts as a self policing mechanism that brings business ethics to the forefront of business making decisions. It creates a tax free economy where the worlds resources are returned to the people and technology advances the common good. No longer will people be displaced by technological advancement, but rather lifted up by it at every turn in technological history.

All national currencies are in debt to nature, since all national economies extract from nature faster than we replenish nature. The only non-speculative commodity currency, backed by a specific list of goods and services, is labor cash of the sort I created for Ithaca, New York. http://www.paulglover.org/hours.html My article “Labor: the New Gold Standard” describes how Hour-denominated money can provide reliable trade value. http://www.paulglover.org/1107.html My book “Hometown Money” explains how to start and manage local currency. http://www.paulglover.org/currencybook.html
